Longtime big leaguer and Hall of Famer Tom Seaver died Monday..He was 75. Seaver’s family said he “passed peacefully in his sleep of complications of Lewy body dementia and COVID-19.”

 

Seaver, Hall of Famer and Mets legend, dies at 75

Hall of Fame pitcher Tom Seaver, who led the New York Mets to an improbable World Series victory in 1969, died Wednesday at age 75, his family told the Baseball Hall of Fame. Seaver had been suffering from dementia and retired from public life in March 2019.
