Sending well wishes to ex-NFL defensive end Dexter Manley, who is currently fighting the coronavirus in a capital area hospital.

Former Washington teammate John Riggins gave fans an update on Tuesday while speaking on his “Riggo The Diesel” podcast, revealing, “He’s slowly but steadily making a recovery against this virus that’s been ravaging the entire world.”

According to Manley’s daughter, the 61-year-old is “very weak, worn down and discouraged after two weeks with a persistent fever and shortness of breath.”

Fortunately, Dalis told the Washington Post last week that her dad is not on a ventilator.
