Roger Federer is helping African families affected by the coronavirus pandemic with a $1 million donation from his Roger Federer Foundation.

The money will go towards meals for 64,000 children while the schools are closed.

The Roger Federer Foundation has focused on education efforts in Africa and Federer’s native Switzerland since it was launched in 2004, donating more than $52 million to date.
