Tim Tebow Celebrates His Birthday By Helping Needy Children

Happy 32nd birthday to Tim Tebow, who is celebrating not by opening gifts, but by giving back.

Tebow is spending his birthday soliciting donations for the Tebow CURE Hospital for children in the Philippines, where he was born as the child of missionaries.

The former football star and current minor league baseball player hopes to raise $150,000, which he says can provide “150 life-changing surgeries” for children in need.

Tebow is currently recovering from a season-ending hand injury suffered while playing for the Mets’ Triple-A Syracuse affiliate.
