Tony Parker Announces Retirement

Former San Antonio Spurs great Tony Parker is officially retiring after 18 seasons in the NBA.

The 37-year-old Parker made his announcement on Monday, tweeting “It’s with a lot of emotion that I retire from basketball” and calling it “an incredible journey”.

Parker spent 17 years with the Spurs, winning four titles alongside Tim Duncan and Manu Ginobili. He spent last season in Charlotte, averaging 9.5 points per game off the bench.
